During the 1960s and 1970s, Denver was one of the epicenters of the Chicano Movement. We asked for and was accommodated at a table located at the perimeter of the dining room, made it much easier to hear and talk with my dinner guests. Filet and lamb shank were delicious. Meat loaf was very dry and tasteless. The Harvest Menu offerings and the price/value were great. We enjoyed the reasonably priced wine and overall, our dinner was wonderful. Service in the beginning was very good, but as the night went on, service got slower and slower.

Seasons 52 provides a delightful dining experience. The menu offers a nice selection, and the restaurant offers a GF menu, which is a real plus for people who need to avoid gluten. The service is very good, and the restaurant does not rush you through your meal, allowing time to visit. The only complaint (and it is very minor) far too many people stop by to check on status; it became intrusive.
Tornadoes are rare west of the I-25 corridor; however, one notable exception was an F3 tornado that struck 4.4 miles south of downtown on June 15, 1988. On the other hand, the suburbs east of Denver and the city's east-northeastern extension (Denver International Airport) can see a few tornadoes, often weak landspout tornadoes, each spring and summer—especially during June with the enhancement of the Denver Convergence Vorticity Zone (DCVZ). The DCVZ, also known as the Denver Cyclone, is a variable vortex of storm-forming air flow usually found north and east of downtown, and which often includes the airport.[60][61] Heavy weather from the DCVZ can disrupt airport operations.[62][63] In a study looking at hail events in areas with a population of at least 50,000, Denver was found to be ranked 10th most prone to hail storms in the continental United States.[64] In fact, Denver has received three of the top 10 costliest hailstorms in United States history, which occurred on July 11, 1990; July 20, 2009; and May 8, 2017 respectively.
Denver's position near the mineral-rich Rocky Mountains encouraged mining and energy companies to spring up in the area. In the early days of the city, gold and silver booms and busts played a large role in the city's economic success. In the 1970s and early 1980s, the energy crisis in America and resulting high oil prices created an energy boom in Denver captured in the soap opera Dynasty. Denver was built up considerably during this time with the construction of many new downtown skyscrapers. Tasting the wine reveals great flavor with very nice spice notes and good fresh acidity. It’s nicely sweet and very pleasant to drink. There’s a ton of one dimensional and impossibly sweet rosé out there but this one easily avoids both of those pitfalls. Tangy fruit leads into the dry, lasting and spicy finish. This is a great value for the price!
